MACHINES GAMES DUTY
LET US TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF SUBMITTING YOUR RETURNS AND TRANSFERRING THE
When MGD came into force, many of our sites found it time consuming to register and then
submit the returns. The HMRC allow you to have an agent to have the responsibility of
making sure that all returns are submitted every 3 months and paid over on time. If the
returns or payments are late then it is Advance Leisure Amusements Ltd that will have to
pay any fines issued by the HMRC
Let our admin staff do this for you! We are the agent for many of our clients and they have
found that it is easier for them to let us register them online and take care of the returns.
You will not have to do anything!
Machines Games Duty (MGD) is a tax that is payable to HMRC. This has replaced the
Amusement machine licence duty (AMLD)
Every collection we have to deduct 20% of the cash box takings and this is payable every
three months to HMRC along with submitting a return. You also have to enrol for MGD
online which is a simple process but this is something that our Admin department can take
off your hands. Once you are registered for MGD you will be sent a Certificate, along with
your Machines Games Duty registration number.
If you would like to know more about MGD then please do not hesitate to contact us or click
on the link below that will direct you to the HMRC website.
